YuJa Video Migration Nearing Completion

Posted:

Though YuJa Video has been available for several weeks as a replacement for Ensemble Video, old Ensemble content is now ready to be transferred to the new platform. Former Ensemble users with video content in their Media Library are asked to sign into YuJa to automatically create their accounts so that their content can be moved.

Please log in at Buffalo State's YuJa page, being sure to use "Buffalo State College Single-Sign-On" from the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, you can access the service through Blackboard Learn. When logged into Blackboard, go to any content area in your course, hover over "Build Content," and then select the "YuJa Media Chooser" to find and insert your media into your course.

For more information on using YuJa, please see Instructional Design and Distance Learning's YuJa Enterprise Video Platform page or the Knowledge Base article.

For training, please refer to the resources on our website as well as checking the Workshop Registration System for upcoming sessions. You may also book an individual appointment with our staff.

Autumn Pumpkin Drop: September 22

Posted:

The tradition is back! The Geography and Planning Department invites you to observe the Autumn Pumpkin Drop as we drop a pumpkin from the roof of Buckham Hall on Thursday, September 22, at 1:20 p.m. Swing by to celebrate the first day of autumn with its promise of blue skies, crisp air, and colored leaves. The drop zone will be in Lot R12, located on the southeast side of Buckham Hall. Look for the yellow tape cordoning off the drop zone. The event will be brief and conclude with plenty of time to allow students to get to classes. We hope to see you there!
