2014 Innovative Instruction Technology Grants (IITG): Application Site Now Open

Posted:

The SUNY IITG online application web link is now available to accept project proposals for round three (2014) of the Innovative Instruction Technology Grants. The application site will remain open until midnight Saturday, March 1.

Please visit http://commons.suny.edu/iitg for application details and to:

  • read the announcement letter from Interim Provost Bringsjord,
  • review the 2014 Request for Proposals,
  • register for informational webinars (January 16 and February 12),
  • access the necessary supporting documents and the FAQs,
  • create a profile in the SUNY IITG online application website.

If you have previously applied for an IITG, the same log-in credentials can be used in the application website (a "password reminder" prompt is available).

  1. Choose the funding tier for your proposal.
  2. (Optional) Print the application question guide and budget worksheet.
  3. Remember to "save draft" frequently.
  4. Submit before the March 1 deadline.

Please refer to the FAQs if you have questions regarding the application. Important things to keep in mind:

  • IITG funding is made available through university-wide funding distributed to campuses (including community colleges) each fall as part of the normal budget process. It is not connected to the Research Foundation for the State University of New York.
  • Expenditures must follow normal campus procurement guidelines.
  • Funds will not be available for awards until fall 2014. Any project expenditures needed before the distribution of fall 2014 funds must be advanced at the campus level.

The IITG website also contains a "Call for Reviewers" link. All SUNY faculty and staff members are invited to fill out a brief online form to volunteer as a 2014 reviewer.

Buffalo State’s 2014 Faculty and Staff Directory is now available in PDF format. As an environmentally friendly and cost-conscious measure, a bound copy of the directory will not be supplied to each employee this year, but the PDF version is available for those who would like to print their own copy. In addition, the online Faculty and Staff Directory provides users with a digital directory that is searchable by first name, last name, and department.
