Banner Upgrades to Assist Faculty in Successful Grading

Posted:

To assist faculty members with successful grading, Banner has been updated to provide a popup window and instructions on how to correctly enter the last date of attendance when that date is entered incorrectly.

In addition, faculty members who are missing grades on their grading rosters will see a warning alert message on the Self Service Banner Faculty Grade Submit button stating “Warning: Missing or Omitted Grades.” This message will disappear on the Submit button once all grades are submitted.

Detailed information regarding these upgrades can be found on our faculty grading tip sheet (PDF, 664 KB), located on the Registrar’s Office website on the “Faculty Grading” tab.

Senior Video Promotes Campus Fundraiser

Posted:

The 2016 Senior Class Challenge Committee, in partnership with the Student Philanthropy Council, created a video to promote giving back to Buffalo State. It features seniors from all areas on campus and was produced by television and film arts student Mark Pasqualotto. The video gave each student the opportunity to share his or her own story and collegiate experience.

The T-shirt fundraiser is a great way to leave your mark on the college. With the purchase of each T-shirt, $10 may be designated to a department, program, club, or team fund that means the most to you. For more information on how to get your 2016 limited edition T-shirt and give back to Buffalo State, please visit the SPC website.
