'Re-seen': Reception and Artist Talk - October 20

Posted:

Re-seen, an exhibition of works by Cynthia Lin, assistant professor of art and design at Purchase College, is on view in the Czurles-Nelson Gallery through October 29. A reception will be held in the gallery on Thursday, October 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with an artist talk at 5:30 p.m.

Scanned, digitally reconfigured, and reprinted, these new interpretations of earlier artworks reveal how an artist explores an image. Intertwining technology with the handmade, a hybrid of specific and unaccountable events creates a new language.

For more information, please contact Kathy Gaye Shiroki, curator of museum learning and community engagement at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, 878-3549.

Registrar's Office: J-Term and Spring 2017 Registration Preparation

Posted:

J-Term/Spring 2017 Banner Preview begins Wednesday, October 12. Starting on this date, students can log into Banner self-service (SSB) to view any holds on their account (if applicable); search a draft copy of the master schedules for both J-Term 2017 and Spring 2017; and view their assigned registration time ticket (the actual date they can begin registering).
