Bengals Dare to Care Day Needs You

Posted:

Bengals Dare to Care Day 2019 will be held on Saturday, September 21, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Let's see a great turnout from faculty, staff, and students again this year! There are three ways to get involved:

  • Sign up to volunteer. Bring your family, volunteer as a group with your students, or just come on your own.
  • Act as a site coordinator to assist with logistics. This critical role helps to support your community partner during the project by keeping your volunteers motivated and safe, helping with communication and logistics, and facilitating a reflection discussion. In return, you will get to know a great group of community-minded students, meet incredible community members, and receive a delicious lunch. Site coordinator volunteers must be available for one of the following training dates:

                    ? Tuesday, September 17, 12:15–1:30 p.m.
                    ? Wednesday, September 18, 6:00–7:00 p.m.

  • Help with registration on the morning of the event. Registration helpers are needed from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Campbell Student Union and must be available for a brief training on one of the following dates:

                    ? Thursday, September 19, 12:30–1:00 p.m., Technology Building 258
                    ? Friday, September 20, 1:001:30 p.m., Technology Building 160
