Coffee with a Cop: October 2

Posted:

Please join University Police officers for the fourth annual Coffee with a Cop event on Wednesday, October 2, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Campbell Student Union Retail Food Court. Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together over coffee to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Attending Coffee with a Cop is an easy way for faculty, staff, and students to get to know the men and women of University Police who serve our campus community.

This is a great opportunity to chat with UPD officers and ask any questions you may have. University Police at Buffalo State is partnering with Chartwells Dining Services to provide this community policing event.

Please Visit the College Senate Website for Information

Posted:

From the Chair of the College Senate
The College Senate urges the campus community to regularly check the College Senate website for news and information pertaining to the Senate. The website is easy to navigate and is updated regularly. The site contains a wealth of information, including reports to the College Senate and meeting podcasts, which serve as the official audio record of each College Senate meeting. Senate meeting summaries are also posted after they are presented to the Senate.

We strongly encourage all senators and others to read their e-mail messages from the Senate, as these may contain information not found in the Daily Bulletin.

If you need assistance with the Senate website or have questions, please contact Vincent Masci, assistant to the College Senate, 878-5139.

Survey: Banner Users Group and Training

Posted:

A new Banner Users Group has been formed at Buffalo State, focused on campus users of Banner Admin Pages. We’ve been meeting to share ideas, plan for support for new Banner users, and get our questions answered. The group will meet a few times each semester, and we’ll schedule the meetings around Banner-oriented time frames (such as master schedule preparation).

If you use Banner, please take a minute to fill out this very brief survey to help us gauge campus interest in Banner training and participation in the user group. Thank you.
