The weather is warming up, and summer is coming! Remember to wear a protective mask when leaving the house. Consider making masks not only for yourself but for older family members, friends, neighbors, or other relatives, too. Information Security Awareness: Do You Have an Account with Home Chef, ChatBooks, or the Chronicle of Higher Education?

Posted:

If you have an account with Home Chef, ChatBooks, or the Chronicle of Higher Education, you should change your password right away because those websites have experienced data breaches.

It is important to consider whether you use the same password for more than one account. If you use your Buffalo State username and password for your Chronicle of Higher Education account, or any account other than Buffalo State, please change both your username and password for the other account(s) right away. Once criminals seize your account credentials, they will try those credentials across all banks and retailers to see where they work. Use different passwords for every account. Read Safe Computing Best Practices and Tips for Creating a Secure Password/Passphrases in the Buffalo State Knowledge Base for more information.
