Workshops to Success: Study Skills to Apply in the First Few Weeks of School

Want to improve your learning style so you can understand more and retain more of what you’re studying? Learning may not come naturally to all of us, but here’s the thing—we can learn how to learn. “Study Skills to Apply in the First Few Weeks of School” is the next session in the Workshops to Success series, sponsored by the Academic Skills Center of University College and offered free to Buffalo State students. Instructor-tutor Lauren Copeland will help you maximize your learning experience by showing you the most effective approaches to these all-important tools for organizing information and making it easier to remember what you've studied.

Date: Tuesday, September 13
Location: Classroom Building B118
Time: 12:15–1:30 p.m. (Bengal Pause)
Presenter: Lauren Copeland

To reserve a seat in the workshop, or if you have any questions, please call the Academic Skills Center at ext. 4041.
