Workshops to Success—Beyond Google: Basics of Library Research

Want to save time on your assignments, get better grades, and impress your professors and friends? Learn how to use the library’s databases to find high quality research materials that aren’t available on Google. Grab your research assignments, and join librarian Lisa Forrest for this hands-on workshop! Note to Buffalo State instructors: Please encourage your students to attend, especially if research is part of their assignments. Consider giving students extra credit for participating. Students can sign an attendance sheet which we will forward to you. The Workshops to Success series is sponsored by the Academic Skills Center (ASC) of University College and offered free to Buffalo State students. If you have any questions, call Lisa at ext. 3558 or the ASC at ext. 4041.
