Fall in love with Charles Burchfield all over again on Friday, February 13, when you visit the exhibition Exalted Nature: The Real and Fantastic World of Charles E. Burchfield between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Study 55 watercolor paintings borrowed from public and private collections across the United States. It’s a remarkable opportunity to sketch in the galleries while examining the artist's luminous and spiritual interpretations of the world around him. Join us for an eye-opening experience.
Drop-in free with M&T Second Friday. No registration is needed. Families and youth ages 12 and older are encouraged to participate. Graphic pencils and paper are allowed in the galleries.
For further information, please contact Kathy Gaye Shiroki, curator of museum learning and community engagement, ext. 3549.
