The Buffalo State Theater Department and Casting Hall Productions proudly present the musical Working!
Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working explores the American workday—from the Monday-morning blues to a working person's pride in having "something to point to." Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso adapted Working into a stage play, mostly using the original words of some common men and women. Working celebrates everyday people in a genuinely funny and touching way. Their personal stories will fill you with hope and inspiration. Featuring songs (also based on real interviews) by Stephen Schwartz, James Taylor, Micki Grant, Craig Carnelia, Mary Rodgers, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, it's the perfect musical for anyone who has ever worked a day in his or her life.
