The Women in Science and Mathematics Speaker Series continues with Dr. Mary A. Bisson, the first woman full professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo, today, Tuesday, May 1, during Bengal Pause (12:15 p.m.) in Science Building 213. Bisson is active in furthering the roles of women in science. She will present research on acetylcholine in plants and discuss the role of women in science. This speaker series is sponsored by grants from the Equity and Campus Diversity Minigrant Program and the Natural and Social Sciences Dean's Office. All faculty and students are welcome and encouraged to attend. A reception will follow.
