Buffalo State’s Fashion and Textile Technology Department will hold a raffle for a weekend in New York City in conjunction with its annual fashion show, Runway 9.0. The getaway package includes accommodations for two nights, a $250 Visa gift card, a behind-the-scenes tour of the fashion district, gallery passes, and a private shopping experience. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5.
Students will be selling tickets for the raffle and for the fashion show on the first floor of the Campbell Student Union on Tuesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 14, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.). Cash or checks will be accepted. Can’t make it to the Student Union? E-mail us with your ticket request and we will come to you. You may also purchase tickets online by credit card.
You do not need to purchase show tickets to get in on the raffle, and you do not need to be present to win this incredible prize.
The Buffalo State Fashion and Textile Technology Department will highlight the best work of student designers during Runway 9.0 on Saturday, April 16, with shows at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union. "Eco-lution = Ecology plus Evolution" highlights the changing of the apparel industry from wasteful to thoughtful and is the theme for this year’s Runway fashion show.
