Watercolor Class and Workshop: 'Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary'

"Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary," part of the International Center for Watercolor at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, will be held Sunday, March 2, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Creativity lives in every one of us, so relax and let your creative spirit blossom. This hands-on workshop will have examples that the instructor, Michael Killelea, painted at home and on the road, and he will help you bring your experiences and visual impressions to life on paper.

Experienced artists and skilled beginners are welcome.

Killelea is a Western New York resident and world traveler who looks for and finds the extraordinary in the ordinary world all around us. His greatest frustration as an artist is his inability to quickly capture all the paintings he can see every time he turns his head. He is active in multiple national arts and watercolor organizations, and his work can be found at www.killeleart.com and on Facebook.

To register for this workshop, please contact Kathy Gaye Shiroki, ext. 3549, or download the registration form.

Cost: $35 for members, $45 for not-yet members.
