Watch the Last Launch of Endeavour

The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium will be showing the final launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour today at 3:47 pm. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m., and the countdown and launch will be shown on the planetarium's 24-foot diameter dome. The planetarium is located in the basement of the Science Building.

Visitors will also be able to see a real space shuttle heat tile like those used to protect the shuttle during reentry.

The space shuttle program will come to a close this year after the final launch of Atlantis in late June, so join us as we watch this historic event.
