Learning Faculty Fellowships for the 2010–2011 academic year. Participate in the Service Learning Faculty Fellows program and join the more than 60 Buffalo State faculty who have become fellows since 2003.
Service learning is a form of experiential education that links learning in the classroom with activities that address the needs of the surrounding community. This form of experiential learning emphasizes analysis and reflection, and allows students to fulfill academic goals while being engaged in projects identified by community organizations. As an instructional approach, service learning enhances students’ knowledge, increases self-exploration, and links learning to community needs.
