I am excited to share that Buffalo State Gives, the college’s third annual Day of Giving, kicks off at noon today. This 24-hour crowdfunding event features a dozen programs and initiatives across campus—from the Student Emergency Fund to the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program, from Art Conservation to Athletics.
I encourage you all, as members of the Buffalo State College community, to visit the Buffalo State Gives website and make a gift of any size in support of our students. Faculty and staff members who choose to donate during the Day of Giving may do so through the website and have their support counted toward this year’s Faculty and Staff Appeal.
I also strongly encourage you to help get the word out about the Day of Giving. The more people know about this exciting opportunity to give, the more support we will raise for our students. You can help out by visiting the Buffalo State Gives website and clicking the “Share” button.
Better yet, you can sign up to be a champion for an initiative that is important to you and share your participation on social media during the Day of Giving itself.
