The following members of the Buffalo State College community have received the Hank Mann Award in recognition of their exceptional service and outstanding teamwork:
- David P. Conorozzo, Trades Generalist
- Felicia F. DaBolt, Cleaner
- Gary W. Light, Plant Utilities Assistant
- William S. Scully, Maintenance Assistant
- Donna G. Stuber, Janitor
The award, established in 2002 by the late Horace “Hank” Mann, SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Exceptional Education, recognizes dedicated physical plant workers with citations and monetary gifts. It honors employees who accomplish the following:
- Customer service that exceeds expectations
- Teamwork and positive relationships with colleagues
- Innovation, flexibility, and adaptability to change
- Consistent and industrious work habits
- The ability to inspire others in their work
