Using a Writing Handbook Across the Curriculum

This workshop will introduce the composition handbook as used in the College Writing Program. Since we are instituting a common handbook for all composition classes and all four years of study, starting in fall 2012, we want the campus to be aware of what it is and how, why, and when to use it and refer to it. Composition handbooks are basic references for most writing situations and can be supplemented with field-specific details. We will cover the handbook's use in composition classes and suggestions for use in other classes.

Presented by Wendy Scott, the workshop will be held on Thursday, February 23, from 11:00 a.m. to noon in Classroom Building B320. We hope you can join us! This is the final Writing Across the Curriculum workshop this semester. Please register through the CyberQuad registration system or call Chris at ext. 5451.
