Using Focused Inbox and Clutter Features of E-mail

Did you know you can use the Focused Inbox or Clutter features of your buffalostate.edu Outlook Mail account to filter your e-mail? In some cases, these features might already be enabled for you. For more information on how to effectively use these features or shut them off, please see the following articles from Microsoft:

Use Clutter to sort low-priority messages in Outlook
Turn off/on Clutter in Outlook
Focused Inbox for Outlook
Turn off Focused Inbox

You can also refer to our Knowledge Base article I'm not seeing all of my messages in Outlook. Where did they go?

If you decide to leave these features enabled, please be sure to periodically check your Clutter/Other folders to be sure your important messages are getting to you.

If you’d like to request in-person training on Outlook or another aspect of Office 365 for yourself or your department, please use the Request a Training from IDT page in the RITE Self-Service Portal and be sure to select “Office 365” from the Training Selection drop-down in the ticket.
