Transformations of Populism Conference: April 8th and 9th

The History and Social Studies Education Department is sponsoring a two-day conference on "Transformations of Populism in Europe and the U.S.: History, Theories and Recent Tendencies." The conference will take place on April 8th and 9th in Butler Library, room 210. The conference will feature a number of internationally esteemed scholars of populism, such as Geoff Eley (University of Michigan), Ernesto Laclau (Northwestern and Essex Universities) and Michael Kazin (Georgetown University). This conference is free and open to the public and does require any pre-registration. For more information, please see the conference website at:
