Please let your students know that this service is being offered today, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., in Butler 210. NYS mandates that all applicants for TEACHER CERTIFICATION are fingerprinted. Get a head start and get your fingerprints done, since the background check takes 8-10 weeks. BRING: A fingerprinting packet, available from your department; a valid ID (driver's license/passport); a certified check or money order for $99 payable to NYSED and $11 (cash only) for completion of cards.
