Tell Students: Workshops to Success - Ensuring Academic Success in the First Weeks of School

Want to improve your learning style so you can understand more and retain more? Learning may not come naturally to all of us, but here’s the thing—we can learn how to learn. "Ensuring Academic Success in the First Weeks of School" is the next session in the Workshops to Success series sponsored by the Academic Skills Center of University College and offered free to Buffalo State students. Instructor-tutor Lauren Copeland will help you maximize your learning experience by showing you the most effective approaches to all-important tools for organizing information and making it easier to remember what you study.

Note to Buffalo State instructors: Please encourage your students to attend, perhaps by giving them extra credit for participating. Students can sign an attendance sheet that we will forward to you. If you have questions, call the ASC at ext. 4041.

Date: Tuesday, February 26
Location: Classroom Building C116
Time: 12:15–1:30 p.m. (Bengal Pause)
