The Burchfield Penney Art Center (BPAC) Street Team is hosting an open house on Friday, April 15, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Students of all majors are invited to take tours, participate in art activities, and grab some food while meeting members and officers of the group.
The purpose of the BPAC Street Team is to provide Buffalo State students with experience and participation in museum studies, education, communication, and volunteer services. We seek to unite the campus museum and the campus body so that as many students as possible can benefit from the programs and resources of the Burchfield Penney. Activities for the first year included museum field trips and a speaker series with the Anthropology and Art Conservation departments as well as a local design firm.
