An information session on Buffalo State's Siena Program will be held today, March 31, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center West.
Since 1961, Buffalo State has provided the opportunity for study in Siena, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Italy. Encircled by centuries-old walls, Siena overlooks the Tuscan countryside, the birthplace of the Renaissance. The academic program revolves around a core of art and architecture in Siena, the history of Italy and contemporary Italian civilization, and Italian language. Students may participate in the Siena Program in either the fall or the spring or for the entire academic year. Students are required to have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; one semester of college-level Italian (or equivalent) is strongly recommended.
