Students interested in communication careers are invited to "Network with Communication Professionals" on Thursday, October 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center North.
The free event will feature two hours of speed networking with a dozen local communication professionals in sports, entertainment, nonprofit PR, banking, PR agencies, special events planning, higher education, newspapers, radio, and television. Refreshments will be served.
Students can talk to the pros to learn how they launched their communication careers, and in turn, get advice on how to start their own careers. Students should dress in business casual and bring their r�sum�s.
The annual event is hosted by Buffalo State's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
