Posted: Thursday, March 13, 2014Tell Students: Invitation to Join Phi Upsilon Omicron, Honor Society for Dietetics, Fashion Technology, and Family and Consumer Sciences Majors
Faculty of dietetics, fashion and textile technology, and family and consumer sciences education students: Please tell your students to check their Buffalo State e-mails for their invitation (sent March 7 or March 10) to join Phi Upsilon Omicron honor society. Membership in Phi U provides opportunities for professional leadership skills, networking with other professionals and alumni, and community service. It also provides access to many scholarships and fellowships available at the chapter and national levels. Membership and scholarship applications were included in the e-mail.
Students should submit their applications and initiation fee to the Dietetics and Nutrition Office, Caudell Hall 207, Attention: Phi Upsilon Omicron, by Tuesday, April 1.
