Tell Students: Alternative Spring Break Application Deadline - February 10

Students interested in participating in one of two Alternative Spring Break service trips must submit their online application by 11:59 p.m. Monday, February 10. Applications and trip details can be found on the CCE website

Each Alternative Break experience provides students with the opportunity to dig deep into a particular social justice issue through hands-on projects with community partners. Throughout the experience, they'll gain leadership skills, take action, and make a difference alongside a team of 10 other Buffalo State students.

This spring, students have the option to apply for one of two Alternative Spring Break experiences:

  • Conserving the Environment at Sky Meadows State Park, March 21–28, where they'll work on environmental conservation projects like trail building and tree planting alongside Virginia State Park staff.
  • Building Partnerships with Our Refugee and Immigrant Neighbors, March 22–26, where they'll volunteer with local nonprofits focused on the refugee and immigrant communities in Buffalo.
