The pre-construction phase of the new Technology Building, which includes demolition of the Central Receiving and former bakery buildings, will begin in early April. Construction of the new Technology Building is expected to get under way this fall.
To accommodate the enclosure of the work site and compensate for spaces lost in the project, the metered parking spaces in Lot D-1 on Union Place (south of Chase Hall) will be permanently removed during the week of March 29. These spaces will be reserved for UPD use, with signage clearly indicating the new affiliation.
Visitor parking is still available in Lots B-1, C, L-2, and X. Please visit www.buffalostate.edu/construction for more information about this and other campus projects. Questions about the new Technology Building may be directed to VPFM@buffalostate.edu.
