Take Back the Night 2020: April 8

This year’s annual Take Back the Night will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2020, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Plaza (rain location: Social Hall). Take Back the Night is an international event and nonprofit organization with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms. We are looking for volunteers, performers, or survivors who would like to share their stories for this significant event. If you are interested in participating or know a student who would be interested, please e-mail pierinng@buffalostate.edu or fill out the Take Back the Night volunteer/attendance form. Take Back the Night is open to everyone, and we invite you to wear teal in support of sexual violence prevention.

Hundreds of events are held in over 30 countries annually. Events include marches, rallies, and vigils intended as a protest and direct action against sexual violence and relationship and domestic violence. Buffalo State has been hosting a Take Back the Night event for more than a decade.
