As part of Year of the City, the Geography and Planning Department announces lectures by candidates for the position of assistant professor for the urban planning program. Dan Howard, associate planner for the Town of Amherst, will present "Sustainability in Western New York: Roles and Challenges for Local Communities" on Thursday, March 14, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Classroom Building C313.
