From the Chair of the College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee
The College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee will host an election May 3–7 to fill one support staff seat, open to all classified employees of the college. The election is for a three-year term (2021–2024). Voting will begin at 12:01 a.m. Monday, May 3, and continue until 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 7. The College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee will again use an electronic voting system supplemented by paper ballots to conduct the election.
Our primary goals are to encourage participation in the shared governance of Buffalo State College and to share information on each candidate. If you have not already visited the College Senate’s Elections and Caucus information site to review the candidates’ qualifications, please do so.
Voter Eligibility
All full-time classified employees (all negotiating units except NU = 8 and NU = 13) are eligible to vote.
We urge everyone to vote electronically. Paper ballots will be sent only to voters who request them.
