The Buffalo State chapter of the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) will be painting pinkie fingers purple, today, Tuesday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 23, for a $1 donation to Polio Plus. The Polio Plus program is working to eradicate polio worldwide. Why a purple pinkie? This is what is done in many places after a child receives a polio vaccine. Polio is still prevalent in countries like India and Afghanistan. Help us protect children and rid the world of polio. ACEI members will be in the Campbell Student Union from noon to 2:00 p.m. today and Wednesday.
