In the past few weeks, food insecurity in Western New York has increased beyond anything we have witnessed in the past. This issue is affecting our students, friends, and neighbors. Supplies of peanut butter, a popular protein source, are dwindling. Please consider donating peanut butter (any size) during the FeedMore WNY "Spread the Love" drive on Saturday, May 23 and 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Buffalo State College will be the site of the "contactless" food drive on May 23. Containers can be dropped off in Lot R-13. Please e-mail Carol DeNysschen, professor and chair of the Heath, Nutrition, and Dietetics Department, for details on many other locations. Let's make Buffalo State an anchor institution in the local fight against hunger!
