The Speech-Language Pathology Department and the SUNY Buffalo State Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (BSC NSSLHA) will host their annual Student Honors and Awards Celebration on Friday, May 9, at 6:00 p.m. at the Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga. Last year, 100 students and their friends and families, faculty members, scholarship donors, friends of the department, and community professionals attended. This year, more than 120 are expected to gather to celebrate the academic, clinical, and research achievements of the speech-language pathology graduate and undergraduate students. In addition to dining and dancing, a basket raffle will be held as the culminating event for the chapter's yearlong fundraising effort for the department's Speech and Hearing Clinic and the Craniofacial Center at Women and Children's Hospital. To date, the student group has raised more than $25,000 for the two organizations.

We welcome the campus community to come and enjoy a fun-filled, celebratory evening with the Speech-Language Pathology Department.
