Southeast Asia Week: Panel Discussion - 'COVID-19 Impacts on Education: Challenges, Strategies, and Education Reforms' – March 22

Please join us for the panel discussion "COVID-19 Impacts on Education: Challenges, Strategies, and Education Reforms" on Monday, March 22, via Zoom. Distinguished panelists will be Sok Soth, dean of the Faculty of Education in Higher Education at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Keo Sarath, national management and technical adviser to the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport for the Secondary Education Improvement Project (SEIP), Cambodia; and Rumki Basu, professor of public administration in the Department of Political Science at Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi, India.

Check-in time is 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.; the panel discussion will run from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. This event is part of the 10th annual Southeast Asia Week celebration March 22–26.

This panel will focus on the impacts of COVID-19 on education and will include a discussion on the challenges, strategies (current and future, including information on adaptation and resilience), and future trajectories. Education has been changed forever. What are the plans for the future? What will future education and learning models look like? How prepared are we to deal with the next pandemic?
