Rooftop Poetry Club Features Kim Chinquee and Eric Beeny

Please join the Rooftop Poetry Club for a reading featuring Kim Chinquee and Eric Beeny on Tuesday, November 6, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the International Students Reading Area of E. H. Butler Library (third-floor SE quadrant, under the flags).

Chinquee is the author of the collections Oh Baby (2008), Pretty (2010), and Pistol (2012). An associate professor of English at Buffalo State, she has received several literary prizes, including the Pushcart and Henfield prizes. She has been widely published in periodicals and journals such as the Nation, Denver Quarterly, In Posse Review, the Arkansas Review, and the Mississippi Review.

Eric Beeny is the author of The Dying Bloom (2009), Snowing Fireflies (2010), Of Creatures (2010), Milk Like a Melted Ghost (2011), Pseudo-Masochism (2011), How Much the Jaw Weighs (2011), and Lepers and Mannequins (2011). His fiction and poetry have appeared in several journals, both in print and online. His blog is Dead End on Progressive Ave.
