Recent Excavations at the Blackmar-Eaton Site

Come to the Buffalo Museum of Science tonight for the Houghton Chapter lecture series at 7:00 p.m. Ryan Austin, project director for archaeological survey, University at Buffalo, will be talking about "Recent Excavations at the Blackmar-Eaton Site: A Nineteenth-Century Rural Residence in the Town of Concord, Erie County, New York." The Houghton Chapter is part of the New York State Archaeological Association whose purpose is to promote archaeological and historical study and research covering the artifacts, rites, customs, beliefs, and cultures of the aboriginal occupants of New York State up to and including their contact with the Europeans. All Houghton Chapter meetings are free and open to the public. Lectures are held at the Buffalo Museum of Science at 7:00 p.m. Please join us!
