Participate in a demonstration of TurningPoint student response systems using both clickers and other devices such as cell phones. Learn the characteristics of good clicker questions, examine examples requiring higher order thinking, and see how to create questions for classroom use. Discuss both pedagogical and classroom management implications and strategies. This workshop will conclude with a hands-on portion during which participants will create sample questions, administer them to the group, and analyze the results. You are welcome to bring your own laptop if you would like to download the software and save your sample files.
