Use of the EV grade for non-attendance has been employed at Buffalo State as an administrative tool for some time. Effective with fall 2013 grading, the EV grade becomes an official grade that will be permanently listed on students’ transcripts. EV has the same effect on GPA as an E. This action is authorized following consultation with deans, associate deans, the College Senate, the registrar, and other appropriate campus units.
