Professional Development Workshop - 'Meeting Students Where They Are: Foundations for Understanding Student Development Theory' - November 14

Please join us for the professional development workshop “Meeting Students Where They Are: Foundations for Understanding Student Development Theory,” presented by Thomas Priester, associate vice president for student success and director of the Educational Opportunity Program at SUNY Genesee Community College and lecturer in Buffalo State's Higher Education Administration Department, on Thursday, November 14, from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. in Chase Hall 109.

This workshop will introduce participants to the foundational theories of student development. Participants will develop an understanding of these theories and how they can be applied to promote our work with college students. Activities will focus on the college student, the college experience, and factors that affect success.

Light snacks will be provided. Please register through the Workshop Registration System.
