When faced with a challenge, we can flee, freeze, or fight. These strategies provide temporary relief from perplexing situations; a more productive response is to use one’s foresight, which can be enhanced through an understanding of one's FourSight. FourSight is a research-based assessment tool developed by Gerard Puccio, chair of the Creative Studies Department at Buffalo State. This profile reveals how people approach problems; since one of the main responsibilities of leadership is to resolve complex problems, this tool has been used to help leaders work more effectively with teams and co-workers to generate breakthrough ideas to difficult situations. Leaders across campus are invited to participate in a lively discussion with Puccio and deepen their knowledge and skills to put FourSight (foresight) to work in the workplace. Attendees are encouraged to bring FourSight results for a better understanding of the profile. Refreshments provided.
