From the Chair of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee
Buffalo State College hosted our search consultant, Dr. Jessica Kozloff of Academic Search, on campus September 10 and 11 for two full days of meetings with our many important constituencies. The College Council also hosted a dinner for Jessica on September 10. Jessica has asked me to convey her appreciation to everyone for their hospitality and their participation during her meetings. Her visit was very successful from both our standpoints, as she is left with a much greater understanding of our college and our many outstanding people and academic programs. Her enhanced knowledge of Buffalo and the very positive impressions that she formed during her time here will surely make her a more effective recruiter on our behalf.

The ad has begun to run in academic journals such as the Chronicle of Higher Education. We will begin to receive résumés during the next eight weeks and will schedule initial off-campus interviews in December.
