From the President

With the new academic year getting under way, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome back each of you to Buffalo State!
I’d like to extend my deepest thanks for the warm welcome I’ve received since starting as Buffalo State’s interim president in August. I’m looking forward to this year with tremendous enthusiasm and working together as we build upon the great legacy of Dr. Aaron Podolefsky, whom we will honor at a campus memorial event this fall. There is also much positive momentum in advancing this outstanding institution. Because of your time and efforts, Buffalo State will continue to be strong and vibrant and provide an exceptional setting in which our students will succeed.
As our students return for classes and we prepare for a promising year head, I invite you to join the Buffalo State community for my Campus Address at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall. Lunch will be provided following the address, which I hope you can attend.
Thank you for all you do for Buffalo State and for our students. I wish you a productive and enjoyable fall semester.
