Muriel A. Howard, president of Buffalo State College, and Cindy Abbott Letro, chair of the Burchfield-Penney Art Center's board of trustees, cordially invite faculty and staff to the groundbreaking for the new Burchfield-Penney Art Center. The groundbreaking will be held on Thursday, August 24, at 5:00 p.m. at the construction site, corner of Elmwood Avenue and Rockwell Road. Gov. George E. Pataki will provide remarks. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony under the tent in front of Rockwell Hall.
