The Social Work Department is hosting a postpartum depression advisory meeting for health/mental health professionals, educators, spiritual directors, and students on Wednesday, April 4, in Classroom Building C122 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Come to learn more about what professionals, educators, and spiritual directors need to know to help these women, children, and families. You will hear personal examples from a woman who experienced postpartum ocd, a case study from a psychiatrist who specializes in women's health, and results of an access to postpartum depression care study. Your active participation is encouraged as we brainstorm ways to address postpartum depression in Erie County.
