Weigel Health Promotions is asking students, faculty, and staff to donate high-heeled shoes to the Crisis Services Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event. We are looking for pairs of heels in all shapes, colors, and sizes but have a greater need for large sizes for men.

Shoe donations can be brought to the Weigel Health Promotions office in Porter Hall 14A (in the basement, near Orientation) or to the Take Back the Night event on Wednesday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall.

You can also donate through the Buffalo State fundraising page to help us reach our goal of $1,000 (and see University Police Chief Carey wear a pair of heels!)

The Walk a Mile event will take place on Sunday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Crisis Services, 2969 Main Street in Buffalo. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., with games ?and activities starting at 11:30 a.m. ?Don't forget your heels!
