Physics/Chemistry Seminar: Angular Momentum in Planetary Atmospheres

Professor Jude Sabato of the Earth Sciences and Science Education Department will give the third Physics/Chemistry seminar of the semester on Thursday, April 23, at 12:30 p.m. in SC272. Professor Sabato will use the concept of angular momentum to lead a survey of current problems in the dynamics of planetary atmospheres. This will include the weather on other planets as well as on the Earth. In particular the causes of monsoons will be discussed.
