Panel Discussion: 'Perspectives on Islam' - April 17

Please join us for a panel discussion, "Perspectives of Islam," on Tuesday, April 17, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.) in Bulger Communication Center East featuring the following panelists and moderator: 

Atta Ceesay, Director, Public Administration and Nonprofit Management Division, Nonprofit Track Coordinator, and Assistant Professor, Political Science Department
Kimberly Hart, Associate Professor, Anthropology Department
Susan C. Randaccio, Lecturer, History and Social Studies Education

Moderator: York A. Norman, Associate Professor, History and Social Studies Education

This panel seeks to provide general perspectives on Islam, Islamophobia, stereotypes of Islam, Islamic Law, and modern problems that Islamic communities face here and abroad. Panelists represent multiple diverse disciplines.
