The purple ribbons on our campus trees are reminders that power-based interpersonal violence is a serious problem on college campuses, as it is in the larger community regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. The Buffalo State community has made a commitment to prevent and respond to incidents of sexual violence, intimate partner violence (dating or domestic violence), and stalking.
